How to enable IMAP for Outlook

Some Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 accounts require IMAP to be manually enabled. If this setting is off, OAuth and IMAP connections to Marco may fail.

Follow these steps:

  1. Sign in at Outlook.com.

  2. Click the Settings (⚙️) icon.

  3. Select MailForwarding and IMAP.

  4. Scroll to POP and IMAP.

  5. Turn on: Let devices and apps use IMAP.

  6. Leave POP disabled—Marco does not use POP.

Once enabled, return to Marco and try connecting again.
