Fastmail works with Marco via IMAP. To connect your account, follow the steps below.
1. Choose IMAP as the provider
When adding a new account in Marco, select IMAP from the provider list.
2. Enter the IMAP settings
Use the following Fastmail IMAP settings:
IMAP server (hostname): imap.fastmail.com
Port: 993
Security: SSL
3. Create an app password (required)
Fastmail does not allow third-party apps to use your main account password. Instead, you’ll need to create an app password.
If you’re logged into Fastmail, you can create one directly here.
Create a new app password and give it any name you like (for example, “Marco App”).

4. Use the app password in Marco
On the IMAP details step, paste the app password you just created (not your regular Fastmail password) as the IMAP Password.
Once saved, Marco will connect to your Fastmail account and start syncing your emails.
